MLK and X
These two Giant in the civil rights movement has been compared for lots of reason. MLK had his idea of Civil Disobedience, which he says that we can not solve a problem with a wrong solution such as riots or fights, but in peace by talking or keeping our mouth quiet. While X idea was that to get something we must do anything necessary, meaning that he will do anything to get the respect for all African-American if it means doing a wrong to get a right. When it comes to which idea gets the job done, I will say both. I easily sit down and chain myself but the question is will anyone pay attention what am I doing, while I can hold a riot and let the whole world know the problem going on.
Meritocracy
I believe in this idea, that if you worked hard enough you can achieve anything. Reason why i believe in this idea is because it has been proven lots of time. But during the film of "A Class Divided" it had a little effect on my idea. Just because the teacher said that Blue eyes were superior than Brown eyes, it changed every little kids mind, Kid with brown eyes acted silly or unresponsive just because this huge idea was dropped on their head, while the blue eye kids just began answering each problem without any hesitation and getting than right. But on the next day when the teacher flipped the table saying that Brown eyes are superior than Blue eyes it changed everything, the blue eyes kids couldn't answer any of the question from yesterday, while the brown eyes did. The whole idea that depending on your position of wealth, race, gender, or anything else can affect on how you do certain task or job.
"I Am" Poem
I am a white freedom rider
I wonder what other whites think of me
I hear my name being slandered
I see the beautiful countryside
I want peace
I am a white freedom rider
I pretend all their strikes don't phase me
I feel hatred
I need this to be over
I worry I won't make it
I cry for freedom
I am a white freedom rider
I understand that I am not wanted here
I believe in equality
I dream of unity
I try my best not to strike back
I hope this will end soon
I am a white freedom rider
I wonder what other whites think of me
I hear my name being slandered
I see the beautiful countryside
I want peace
I am a white freedom rider
I pretend all their strikes don't phase me
I feel hatred
I need this to be over
I worry I won't make it
I cry for freedom
I am a white freedom rider
I understand that I am not wanted here

Florence Ranges
In the 1950 a new product came out called Florence Ranges, it was an oven. The reason this is sexism because the headline "Favored by women.... for cooking these dishes for men." Just by those you can tell its sexism. the product was made for women to just stay in the kitchen, like they used to be. Every picture they have is just a women cooking on this product.
A winter snowie Morning
As the sun comes up, and the kids wake up. They look outside their window and see the street all covered up with snow. They were amazed because it never happened before, so excited they call their mom to show her. She too was amazed, all happy and excited they ask mom "can we please go outside?" and the mom replies "After you eat your breakfast and your room is cleaned up." With all joy they eat and fix their bed, put on a jacket and start playing, and making snow angles. As the day goes by, they wish this happens again and again, until they get bored.
Media Influence
Does media influence the actions of teenagers? Yes it does, because mostly every commercial, Music Videos, Movies are toward us. We teenagers have free time most of the time, so we can shop, we can watch movies whenever it comes out. Also all those foolish dances kids do, all were from music video, cool people do it, we must do it. Also theres have been a lot of incident happening, like kids trying to do wrestling move, just because they saw it in television. As this goes on, the media can be used to those boring informational videos on how to do things, just like the old days.
